The “K” type automatic cartoning machines belong to a
generation of technologically modern machines, designed to meet recent market
requirements. These machines have been devised so that the dimensions of the
possible package sizes may be changed at any time via simple and rapid size
changing operations (max. 10 minutes).
The combination of modern mechanical and electronic
conceptions applied in the “K” project has enabled the achievement of
amazingly reliable, versatile and easy to use machines together with the
possibility of processing a wide range of packages.
The product is loaded manually or automatically on infeed
belts which, during the various infeeding phases, arrange and place the product
in the machine.
A special rhomboid carton “opening-out” unit picks them
up and opens them, pre-arranging them finally for the following product
insertion phase.
As the cartons are conveyed towards the outlet section, their
flaps are folded over and glued or taped. The complete package is then ejected.
Optional machine sections may include the package “taping” “hot-melt”
sealing, “labelling” or “printing” units.
